The Decorator is a flat-edged, synthetic, multi-use brush. Its brush head has an even width from the base all the way to the tip of the bristles, meaning The Decorator is perfect for creating thicker lines & stripes that traditional Liners are not designed for.

Its shape and consistent width make it ideal for colouring smaller areas on the nail and designs as well as vertical Ombre. A quick pinch of the tip of the bristles and voila, you have yourself a petal painting work of art!

Preparation Of Your New Brush

When you receive your new TNL brush you will find the bristles protected by a plastic sleeve and they will also be coated in a dry resin. Both of these are safety measures to ensure your brush is safe and secure in transit. To prepare your brush before use, you must:

 

• Remove the plastic sleeve (once removed, please discard of the plastic sleeve)
• Remove the resin from the bristles by rubbing the bristles between your fingers (side to side not top to bottom)
• Once all the resin is removed, please follow the cleaning steps below. This will ensure that your brush is back in shape, clean & ready for use

 

Cleaning Your Brush

To clean your TNL brushes you should follow the recommended steps:

• Using a thin consistency builder or base gel, pour a small amount on to a palette
• Then, gently dab and roll your bristles through the product until the brush is clean & soft
• Using a dry lint free wipe, gently run your bristles between your finger and thumb to remove any excess product. This step also reshape your brush back to its original state
• Now place the lid back on securely. Your lid is there to prevent damage to the brush and prevent the remaining product from curing

Do not use alcohol or acetone based products to clean your brushes. This will dry out the bristles and, long term, irreparably damage them
